Caterham School was founded in 1811 as a school for the priests' sons, and since 1890 the children of the ladies are also learning here. Since 1995, the school has become mixed, joining Eothen School girls. By integrating the two elite schools, the traditions of education in the spirit of Christian values ​​continue.

The school is in the county of Surrey, in a perfect location, which combines London with the tranquility and charm of English nature. Lying on an 80 acre area in Hearstone, the campus is constantly expanding and modernizing. A new sports center, theater, festive hall and playgrounds have been redeveloped and art, information technology, modeling, photography, as well as the technology and 3D design center have been upgraded. In the summer of 2006, the new school corpus was hosted, hosting 13 new scientific laboratories and a modern dining room. In 2008, the A-Levels high school classroom, medical center, school store, professional development centers and recreational halls were rebuilt.

Academic programs
Offering excellent schooling, the school occupies an annual position in the top English school with a boarding school. The statistics indicate that many of the graduates are admitted to the UK's top universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, St.  Andrews, University College London etc.

The school owns three camps on the campus. Beech Hanger House is designed for girls and is opposite the main building of the school, near the sports complex. Townsend and Viney House are booths for boys and occupy the first and second floors of the central building. Larger students are accommodated in individual or double rooms, most of them with en suite facilities. Smaller students are accommodated in spacious rooms with 4 to 6 beds.

School activities

Besides the academic dimension, Caterham School is renowned for its sporting traditions, trying to offer every student the opportunity to fully develop their physical qualities. There are over 18 types of sports - rugby, hockey and cricket being the most popular among boys, basketball, tennis and lakes, among girls. Students can use open playgrounds throughout the year, as well as a sports center with a swimming pool. Qualified trainers organize trainings of:

Mathematics, chemistry, foreign languages, information technologies and debates are the perfect places for deepening knowledge. Besides these, students can join some of the 45 themed clubs, depending on the concerns and passions of each, including:

Educational excursions
For students in the boarding house, they regularly organize excursions to London for sightseeing, parties in amusement parks, paintball and more. Every year, a five-day trip to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam or other destinations is organized.
